2003 Spring Classic: The March to Mordor
The street is a dangerous thing... when you leave the door and don't
watch your feet you never know where they will take you...
Hopefully they will take to the sign-up for this years' Spring
Classic. The voyage takes your from the Shire over Moria and Helms
Deep into the Mordor, to Mount Doom. Your task is to destroy the Ring
of Power. At the beginning you may be many, but you one after another
your comrades will fall to power of the ring. Only one will make it
to Mount Doom to throw the ring into the fire it was forged from.
And here is your route:
Round 1 - Pass through the Old Forest
Round 2 - Fight the Black Riders at the fords and get to Rivendell
Round 3 - Pass the mine of Moria, make it to the Bridge of Kazad-D?m
and reach Lorien
Round 4 - Get to the battle of Helms Deep
Round 5 - Go on to Minas Tirith and the Battle of Pelennor Fields
until you finally reach the Final :
Mount Doom, where you destroy the Ring of Power.
Eligibility: All Ranks
Format: Unseeded, 2 month per round time limit.
Start date: 1st April 2003
